“People interact with money every single day. No matter how educated or successful you are, most of us were never taught how it actually works.”
Through decades of behind-the-scenes work in tax, Lisa gained a rare window into how money affects every aspect of life. What she saw wasn’t a lack of intelligence or effort—but a lack of clarity. That realization became her calling: helping people understand their numbers so they can make decisions that feel intentional, informed, and their own.

The Journey to Empowerment
Lisa’s work blends deep technical expertise with a passion for empowering women through financial literacy and self-trust. Her journey was shaped by both professional experience and personal choice.
“I left PwC after the birth of my first son because, at the time, there were very few women in high-level leadership roles. I wanted a career that allowed me to be present with my kids and still grow professionally. Building my own practice showed me that it was possible to design a life that worked—and I realized I had a gift for helping others do the same.”
Over time, Lisa recognized that money conversations are rarely just about numbers.
“It’s not about being good or bad with money. It’s about understanding your numbers, your patterns, and your priorities. Once you have clarity, you can choose a path that actually fits your life.”
Her approach is intentionally non-judgmental and deeply personal.
“There’s no single right answer. The right answer is what works for you. My role is to provide clarity and explain the potential impact of different options. Money is just one piece of a much larger life puzzle.”
Building Confidence in Women
Many of the women Lisa works with arrive feeling intimidated or ashamed about their finances—despite being successful in other areas of their lives.
“Shame is one of the biggest barriers. Women think, ‘I should already know this.’ But they’re not alone. Money carries stigma, much like mental health, and silence keeps people stuck.”
Lisa helps women regain confidence by breaking complex financial concepts into manageable pieces.
“I think about money like a puzzle. You start with the border, then fill in the pieces. When women understand what their lives actually cost, clarity starts to replace fear—and confidence follows.”
Her goal isn’t perfection, but empowerment.
“Money doesn’t buy happiness. It buys choices. When you understand the small pieces, complexity turns into possibility.”
Translating Expertise into Accessible Guidance
One of Lisa’s greatest strengths is her ability to translate technical financial information into language people can actually understand.
“I often say I translate taxes into English. When people feel seen and understood, everything changes. That’s where real learning happens.”
Lisa emphasizes that financial literacy is a process, not a destination.
“Start where you are. Understand what your life costs. Explore scenarios. Be willing to feel a little uncomfortable—it’s temporary. Clarity builds over time.”

“Trailblazers pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best way. I felt safe being seen. The experience helped me see myself as a guide—someone with presence and a message worth sharing.”

“Putting on the flouncy skirt and pink shoes sparked joy and I want to spark conversations about money—to help people realize they are smart and that they have options.”
