Mary and Frank got married in Brooklyn on a perfect Saturday morning. As the girls got ready at Mary’s apartment in Brooklyn, they celebrated one of her best friend’s birthday with a surprise cake and bubbly. Mary’s mother and sister in law helped her get into her gorgeous Delphine Manviet dress that twirls like a dream and comes complete with pockets!! Meanwhile Frank’s entourage helped him get dapper at his hotel room with awesome cityscapes of NYC. The ceremony took place at their local church was such a personal touch. The pastor who conducted the ceremony made everyone chuckle several times with his jokes and entertaining remarks. Who doesn’t love pastor with a sense of humor!
Mary’s mother had a great vision to recreate her own wedding photo in front of Farrell’s, but with Mary and Frank. The entire bridal party then headed over to Prospect Park for some fun wedding portraits. 501 Union was the perfect location for the reception party and dinner. Mary’s beautiful dress twirled likes a flower as Frank spun his beautiful bride to the upbeat live music by the Engagements.
For me this was one of the most special weddings I have ever shot especially because this was one week before I was due to give birth to my daughter Radha. I was buzzing with ideas and hormones, but mostly I put my amazing team to the biggest challenge so far. I feel so fulfilled looking at these pictures and knowing that we put our heart and soul into every shot right up until the end of the night. I struck gold with this amazing couple who were cool, totally themselves and completely in LOVE!! Mary and Frank thank you so much for trusting me with your wedding day. XOXO
