Meredith and Brandon Manhattan Penthouse Wedding

Meredith and Brandon unexpectedly and unintentionally had to plan two separate weddings. Their original wedding venue, was a beautiful riverside venue overlooking the East River. However, this waterside wedding venue shut down unexpectedly right before their wedding date. Although their wedding plans appeared to have been literally thrown into the water, they did not let these turn of events shut down their positive spirits or dampen their excitement to share their special day with their friends and family. Fortuitously, they were able to share their love for each other and Manhattan at a venue right in the heart of the city.

Meredith and Brandon’s shared their first looks at each other at Madison Square Park where they were surrounded by their closest friends and New York’s most majestic buildings.

They exchanged vows in a ceremony officiated by their close friend and surrounded by breathtaking views of midtown at the Manhattan Penthouse. Perhaps it was the thrill of the special day or the excitement to share her life with Brandon that made Meredith’s giddy giggles contagious throughout the ceremony. Brandon also amazed guests with his impeccable glass smashing skills while his groomsman cheered him on in this traditional Jewish custom.

Their reception was filled with love and laughter, but what made the festivities truly epic that Meredith and Brandon’s incorporated their Louisiana roots into the party. They had a second line parade that included festive masks, decorative umbrellas and even alligators! The cake cutting revved up the guests as the DJ played “we are the champions” while the couple cut through their NFL themed cake. The duo demonstrated their fierce air guitar skills, which drew in their friends and family to join them on the dance floor and celebrate their unique and special day.
