Kristine and Chris’s Story
Sometimes the best moments in a photoshoot come from the unexpected. Kristine arrived for her maternity session with Chris and their sweet pup Theo, wearing a cape hood dress that felt instantly iconic, with hair and makeup beautifully done by our team. Then it started snowing, and everything transformed. What was beautiful became magical, mirroring the life growing within her. Pro tip: leave room for surprise and be open to adventure. That is where truly epic photos are born .
We had a wonderful experience with Priyanca. She understood the style of photos we wanted, and our winter maternity session turned out beautifully. The shoot included both posed images and natural, joyful moments. We also received wall art for our nursery and a custom Italian album that matches my dress, which we will treasure for years.

Liberty State Maternity Photos
Ying’s maternity shoot at Liberty State Park felt beautifully full circle. As a New York City maternity and portrait photographer, Priyanca knows the park inside and out, guiding them to soft natural light, quiet corners, and iconic views of the NYC skyline and the Statue of Liberty. Ten years after photographing their engagement, Priyanca captured this new chapter with romantic, editorial maternity photography that celebrates connection, movement, and the magic of becoming a family.
Working with Priyanca again felt like coming full circle. She photographed our engagement ten years ago, and returning to her for my maternity shoot was so meaningful. She guided us effortlessly at Liberty State Park, finding beautiful light and quiet moments with iconic skyline views. We also created leather wall art from our images and absolutely love it. Seeing this chapter displayed in our home is incredibly special.

We have done three photo shoots with Priyanca over the last couple of years. A couples shoot, a maternity session and more recently a family photo shoot. All of them gave us incredibly beautiful photos. She has an amazing eye for the surrounding environment which she often creatively incorporates into her pictures. She will not hesitate to lie down on a busy sidewalk in Manhattan to give you that perfect NYC shot. Capturing the essence of NYC is one of her greatest skills. She is also charming and funny and easily makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera. My husband and I were not the type to print/frame photos (not even our wedding photos!) but the only ones on display in our living room are those taken by Priyanca. You can’t go wrong with choosing her to document your special life event, whatever it may be! I know that for as long as we live in the same city, she will always be our photographer!

Working with Priyanca again was such a meaningful experience—she photographed our engagement, our wedding, and now our maternity session. We planned the entire shoot over Zoom beforehand, which made the day on the Brooklyn Bridge feel relaxed and seamless. Hair and makeup came to our apartment, and Priyanca guided us through the session, capturing beautiful moments with the iconic skyline. We even turned some of the photos into 8-foot wall art for our home and couldn’t be happier to have these memories of our family in New York City.
