Who doesn’t like to go to the West Coast to document an Indian wedding a couple times a year? One of my absolutely favorite families from 2021 was this epic two day wedding at San Fransisco. Ridhima , Navneet and I connected over a zoom call in early 2020 during the pandemic and talking about dogs, our love for good food and the importance of family connections. When their wedding approached and I finally met their family, it felt like I had known them all along. Their admire how Ridhima and Nav prioritized everything that was important to them, making their wedding so personal and unique. They cut parts of the ceremony that didn’t have significance any more and extended traditions that were fun and allowed for more family time. The water balloon fight that pursued was so epic, Nav had to jump into the pool to was off afterwards! The photos from their event are some of my favorite ever, I felt like part of the family and I photographed them as one of my own. They have special meaning to me and it was so hard to pick just 23 images to show their 2 day festivities. Thanks to Danny K, Duy Ho and Amy Little for being part of this amazing San Francisco wedding photographer team!! This is also one of my first weddings documented on my Fujifilm XT4 which I used full time for weddings now. I love the candid shots with this tiny little camera which has fueled my passion for photography.
Congrats Ridhima, Nav and their amazing family!
