Jihye and John’s shoot was so personalized and fun. They live in Chelsea and hang out in Meatpacking close by, so we decided to shoot in that neighborhood. To fulfill Jihye’s addiction to coffee we made a quick pit stop at Blue Bottle coffee. It turns out that the coffee shop has more than one significance in this couple’s lives. They also happened to meet on Coffee meets Bagel! During their first date Jihye and John discover that they both went to MIT, and given their nerdy personalities they bonded over the chemistry of fire. Jihye takes credit for introducing John to City Bike, and John spoils Jihye with his wonderful home cooked food.
As we walked around the Highline and Meatpacking I noticed their great chemistry through the photos, so I asked them what they were talking about. John and Jihye apparently were having a lighthearted discussion about poop, and this made me smile throughout editing their photos!
You guys are so good together and I am sure the wedding is going to be really awesome!
