As an Indian I was exposed to the idea of having a big fat Indian wedding the minute I was born. The grandeur, the decor, the sparkling jewels come to mind whenever I envision an Indian wedding. Not to mention inviting everyone you have ever met!
Then 2020 came along and the Corona virus made us rethink why we get married at all. The meaning of a union and why we do it at all. Who should be there and what words should be exchanged. Shaily and Tom’s wedding with 20 of their most dear friends and family at Dumbo was just perfect! It has the beautiful magnificent views of Brooklyn Bridge and New York City, you could feel the love as their friends gathered around them in a circle. It was so powerful, emotional and meaningful.
